The most continental climate of NZ, Alexandra experiences intense summer heat and drought, followed by freezing winters. The wines offer vivid fruit and great structure of acid and tannin. Clyde was also home to the very first vineyard plantings of Otago back in 1864 by French miner J.D Feraud.
