NZ Whisky Co South Island 500m

South Island Single Malt, distilled from malted New Zealand barley, aged in American ex-bourbon barrels. This non-peated single malt has been slowly maturing in our seaside bond store in Oamaru. Deep honey comb and orange in colour. Well balanced with light fruity notes, soft spice and creamy malt flavours, this lovely single malt whisky is easy drinking and delicate. A pleasant wee drop to sip! On the nose – sweet malted grain, tangerine & mandarin zest. Honey with a fine, mild vanilla. On the palate it’s rich, oily mid palate with caramel and light citrus fruits and a long, smooth finish with soft spices.
