Abundant varietal characters emerge from the glass, with aromas of tomato leaf, violets, capsicum, and blackcurrant, complemented by earthy notes and cedar/cigar box nuances from oak maturation. The palate is fine and silky from start to finish, with elegant herbaceous and berry fruit flavours flowing seamlessly across the mid-palate. It concludes with exceptionally well- balanced acidity. A wine to be savoured slowly over a long and luxurious dinner.
