Established in 1994, we have been servicing the region as not only the destination for excellent regional and international wines and advice, but also as the convenient store to pop into for your daily beers, wines & spirits.
Our team are always looking for new products to keep our stock selection high and our customers happy, so come on in and ask them for their help.

Captained by owner operator Tracy, there is nothing she doesn’t know about every item the shop!
From the finer points of Pinot to the details of Dalmore, she’s always on hand to share her wealth of knowledge gained from many years of wine retail, event management, and a WSET L3 on top. We think there’s nothing worth knowing if she doesn’t know it. Tracy is also mum to our official shop mascots – cheeky wee pugs Frankie and Pippi.
Owners Gavin and Carole are Southern Kiwis born and bred, animal lovers, beer and wine aficionados and always happy to provide their knowledge in the shop (when not tramping in the bush or at lunch with friends).
Henry heads the Web and International wine offerings, with a WSET L4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits, a lifetime behind bars and a decade of local knowledge he can (mostly) back up his extensive chat and is always happy to recommend what’s good!
Gemma is our marketing guru, always busy behind the scenes keeping you up to date with the goings on in the shop across our social platforms.
Sarah ‘Dj Dolittle’ is not just our craft beer specialist in charge of the chiller, but with her WSET certs and being an international DJ, she knows her way around the 1’s & 2’s, 389’s and 802’s.
So, whatever your questions are, our team can answer them expertly for you and help you carry the case to the car as well!
